Invitiation to IMAT meeting at Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg SRAL
Maastricht, the Netherlands
22-23 October 2012
Dear IMAT Partners, dear colleagues:
As you all know, we are now nearing the first anniversary of the IMAT Project! With so much going on and so many developments, our first annual meeting will be an important occasion for all partners to be updated, and also for all participants to be able to discuss face to face the work in progress.
The tentative meeting agenda is to follow in a day or so. We are looking forward for the suggestions from you and the final agenda will be ready in a week or so.
We have now determined the exact dates for the meeting, which will be generously hosted by Kate Seymour and IMAT partner Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg SRAL (http://www.sral.nl/) at their campus in Maastricht, the Netherlands on
MONDAY OCTOBER 22, AND TUESDAY OCTOBER 23.
Please make your travel arrangements so that we may begin the meeting at 9 am on Monday the 22nd.
We have scheduled morning and evening sessions with a lunch in between and we expect to finish our daily agenda by 6 pm.
SRAL has informed us that end of October is a busy time with the accommodation in Maastricht. SRAL has an arrangement with a local hotel (http://www.townhousehotels.nl/) and can book rooms there for all who need it - the cost including breakfast will be around 80 euros per night, BASED ON AVAILABILITY. Kate has communicated to me that this is a half term/autumn holiday week, which may affect availability, and that anyone interested should make these arrangements with SRAL as soon as possible. If you find an accommodation further from the meeting place, we could help you with the pick up and drop-off.
Siska Losse will be our contact at SRAL for the hotel accommodations. You may contact her via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Also, SRAL will be celebrating their 25th anniversary with afternoon lectures on Wednesday the 24th, and all partners are invited to attend.
Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible with the coordinator Rocco Furferi.
Should you have any questions please contact Tomas Markevicius and Nina Olsson.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Maastricht!!
